Orgasms and sex in first few weeks of pregnancy ?

I know this sounds silly but is it ok to have sex and have an orgasm this early in pregnancy? I have read both can cause early miscarriage but I assume it’s miscarriage from
Something else and not from having sex or having an orgasm. I just want to make sure I am doing what is safe,  thank

If not told by your dr or on pelvic rest your fine to have sex!

Most of miscarriages happen because of chromosomal issues. Nothing you caused etc.

Graduate Nurse and newly preggo (4 weeks). I've been rereading all my OB books about this topic. You are fine! All say it is safe,  it is a myth that orgasm and sex cause miscarriage according to my books. It did say to avoid rough sex and be careful (use protection if not with a steady, already tested partner). I have not stopped having sex myself. Sex can be beneficial to relieve stress and increase bonding with your partner, so love on!!!!!
