Bleeding & clotting

Have been bleeding for about 2 weeks ish. Started as spotting here and there now to light period. But Thursday I went to ER thinking I was 7 weeks but got dates wrong so now I’m 6w 1d. (They couldn’t see anything but the sac on ultrasound since I was so early Thursday I was 5w5d) They did ultrasound and omg it was so painful so Friday I bled a lot and even had clots. My doctor is seeing me Monday and I’m terrified. They talked about DNC being an option if needed and I’m so scared. I’ll be heartbroken if I lose the baby. Just wondering if anyone had gone through something similar and had any advice? Even if you ended up losing baby just curious.
