Is this wrong?

I am very happily married. On Labor day weekend my lifelong best friend wants me to take a mini road trip to FL with her to visit several of our other friends who live there (all female). With me being married would it be wrong for me to take the weekend and do this without my husband? I'm scared to even ask him because I feel like I shouldn't as a married woman even though we wouldn't be doing anything "wrong".

Why would going on vacation with your friends ever be wrong? You are still entitled to have your own life after you are married.

I wouldn't say that it is "wrong" at all. However, only you know what is "right" for your particular relationship. For example, my husband is very protective over me as far as my safety goes and probably would be a nervous wreck if I went on a trip like that. He wouldn't tell me I couldn't go, but it would definitely bother him.

I don't think it's wrong at all to enjoy some girl time. I think it's healthy for couples to take separate, short vacations once in a while.

It wouldn't be wrong no....I personally wouldn't want to do that because my hubby is my best friend (not saying urs isnt) but we have a strange closeness that I can't explain I wouldn't want to go if he wasn't going with me but u certainly wouldn't be doing anything wrong or implying that u want or need to be away from him...alot of woman do girls weekends and have perfectly happy healthy relationships

It wouldn't be wrong, but if it make him feel uncomfortable with it yes its 'wrong.' But it's something you need to talk about and see how he feels.

No way. I vacationed back to my home state back in January to visit my family and friends without my husband. Marriage does not mean you have to be attached at the hip.

I've been married 4 years and just went to Vegas with my best friend in February. Wasn't an issue at all. Go for it. I had a blast! 😄😄
