Does anyone work in social/youth/community work?

I’ve just completed my Cert IV in Youth Work, and am going on to complete my Diploma.

I’m also planning to complete Diplomas in Community Services and Counselling.

I’m still quite young and inexperienced. This week I will finish unpaid work I have been doing at a school for children with disabilities, and I have been there for a month. I also have experience babysitting a young girl with disabilities.

I’m looking for advice from more experienced workers. I’m looking to volunteer but it’s difficult with such a tight schedule. Work is also very hard to come by at the moment.
