I’m 9 weeks and purchased a car seat this weekend. Can’t let all these awesome baby’s r us deals get away. It’s not pink or blue so gender didn’t matter.

We started picking up a few little things while TTC. After the first ultrasound at 7 weeks and my dr saying she would be shocked if anything happened after that point, we started buying more. I’m 12 weeks now and have a drawer of neutral clothes, some thick blankets for in the car seat (we’re having a December baby in Michigan), a few cloth diapers, diaper bag, we made a puppy at Build A Bear, and I’m working on making cloth wipes and crocheting a blanket now.

We got a few things in the second trimester. We just had our shower at 34 weeks and it practically filled our checklist! I’d do it in the second trimester before you get too tired.
