Could this ever work?

Question

I binge watch YouTube way too often , and came across this kind of video. It says using baking soda, orange, and I think just aloe Vera can remove body hair overtime. I was just curious as to how this paste could ever work ? Just sounds odd to me. Anybody heard or tried it?

I’ve heard of people using a high concentration of just baking sodas and rubbing the mixture on and letting it sit for a while. But I’ve only seen them apply it to arm hair

If I were you I wouldn't risk it, especially down there. On your legs or arms I don't think it could cause much damage but for places with sensitive skin it's important to do hair removal properly! Baking soda is a weak base (alkaline, like a 10 o the pH scale) and the citrus from the orange is a weak acid (around 3-4). These would react and could cause some nasty stuff on your skin.
