Does it get easier?

First time mom with a 2 month old. I was wondering if and when, things get easier?

My boy isn’t particularly difficult, he doesn’t cry constantly and sleeps well most nights. But I still feel very overwhelmed at this point. My husband tries to help as much as possible, but he has trouble with most things. If I do ask him to take care of the baby while I clean the house or shower or whatever, he’s constantly calling me back in the room to help him or bring him something or ask me a question. To the point where I can’t get anything done I needed to do anyway. So I feel petty much on my own.

At what age did you feel like things were easier, or like you had more of a routine down?

Maybe a stupid question, I know all babies are different or maybe things shouldn’t be this difficult and I’m just doing something wrong.
