nexoplanon implant

Did anyone else bleed for a long time with the implant? the last birth control I was on was the mirena iud and it made me bleed for nearly 6 months straight and I do not want that to happen again. But I got the arm implant about 3 weeks ago. and I've been bleeding for about 9 days now and it's not looking like its gonna stop. So I want to know if anyone else bled for a long time and if I should be expecting a repeat of my experience of with the IUD
