Safe for a 10month old in convertible carseat?

My hubby just bought a Jeep Wrangler and we have the bikini top on it now. My question is, it it safe? She is in a rear facing convertible carseat. For short trips of course. Nothing over 40 miles or lower with the bikini top on it. Because the wind in her face. He would put the soft top on if we went on a further trip and needed to drive over 40 mph. Would this be ok for short grocery pr just driving around in good weather or no?

I say no. Just because this would terrify me. If for some reason you were in an accident and the carseat became projectile, your baby would go flying.

I would say no because if there is any debris on the road, a rock flies up, something comes off another car,  or there was a crash theres nothing stopping it from hitting her in the face.

I would say no. There is nothing around them. If someone hit you and pieces of car went flying nothing is stopping things from hitting her. A crash can happen 2 miles from home the same as 200 miles from home.

I mean.. for just grocery shopping and not going 80 on the highway I'd say it's fine for a quick trip as long as the car seat can be properly installed - plus they're 10 months and not 2 months old so I'd say it's okay

I'd never put my child in that Jeep. Period. I don't care how fast or slow we're going or whether we're going to the grocery store or on a road trip. One accident and that poor child is in very serious danger.
