Discharge after being diagnosed with yeast infection

So last week I took a morning after pill after a condom break just as a precaution even tho things lasted 3 minutes and no one ejaculated. A few days later I developed a vaginal itch and went to the doc yesterday and was told I had a yeast infection. They gave me my first pill and said to take another one in 3 days if symptoms persist. Well I woke up this morning with discharge and I’m so confused because the itch is gone, I feel my vagina healing , but this discharge freaked me out. Anyone have any similar situations ?
