Need to have a second???

Question

So I’m halfway through my pregnancy with my first, and since the very beginning I get comments like “For when the second one comes...”, “You gotta try for the boy next”, “A second one so the first won’t get lonely”... OMG. Can I just get through my pregnancy first without having people planning my second one for me? 😫
 Has anyone else stumbled upon this issue?

Oh yes! People can get out of hand. And honestly it can really effect how much you enjoy your pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my son, I got all the same comments as you. I wasn’t even completely healed from his birth and people were talking about us trying for a little girl so he could have a baby sister. It’s ridiculous. He’s almost three now and so many people keep telling us that it’s time to have another one. I always tell them to worry about themselves.

Ha! Good luck! I’m pregnant with my third and I have two girls already...the minute everyone found out I’m pregnant the comments of “teamboy” and “do you want it to be a boy?!” My response is, “well, after having a miscarriage in December, right before Christmas, I would honestly just want a HEALTHY baby!” To answer your original question, I got the whole, “when do you think you’ll try for another?” With my first pregnancy and when I was pregnant with my second, it was “what do you want her to have a brother or a sister?!”...then after my second was born it was “when will you start trying for that boy...” people are kind of ridiculous and I honestly feel a lot of them do not THINK before they speak!

Seriously, my husbands family’s favorite question when I was pregnant, “are you gonna have any more?” Um.... how about I pop this one out first before I even think about having another 🙄

Yeah, I hear you...I heard the same thing the first pregnancy, and when I was pregnant the second time with another boy, all I heard was about how I should have a third so I can have a girl. 🙄 I had a tough time being polite the further I got in that pregnancy!
