Pictures! Why oh why????

Janet

OK I’m 34+5... needless to say I’m huge. But I’m also sometimes really tired or have nausea or just simply uncomfortable. Whenever I’m feeling awful, people want to take pictures of me. The other day my feet were swollen and I had a sour stomach. I leaned my chair against my desk and another against the wall and raised my legs... I felt awful and from all the movement my heart was racing. A coworker who knew how I was feeling says “I’m going to take a picture of you”...I got upset and said no. This morning I’m leaving the house for work...my hair is a mess, Im exhausted and look it, I’m trying to spread peanut butter on a piece of bread and be on my way. Out comes my mother saying “Stand still I’m going to take a picture”. Again why???? I asked her why everyone wants to take pictures of me when I am not feeling well or look a mess. She turns around and walks away.

I have questions.

Does this happen to any of you?

Why do they insist on these pictures? Why not take a picture when I’m feeling well or smiling instead? Am I overreacting?

I felt better after I ate and got in the car, so I took this picture.
