How do you know you're actually ovulating?

I know there are signs. But it seems like many women will have those signs and still not release an egg.

2 years ago I thought I was going through menopause I didn't get my cycle for 3 months and then it showed up and then now again now here it is again two and a half years later and I'm going through the same thing have anybody else been through this or cuz someone tell me what's going on

Using opk's doesnt guarantee that u release an egg though. Some women have lh surges but never actually ovulate

Take a ovulation predictor kit (OPK). It's a pee stick like a pregnancy test. It will tell you if you've ovulated or are ovulating. You release a specific hormone during ovulation and this tests reads it.

Easiest way, but it's not cheap. (Unless you buy online from Amazon or something)
