How soon is too soon?

How long did you guys wait with your newborn to travel or road trip? This will be my first and my boyfriend and I have had this trip to go back to Indiana for a wedding planned for over a year. He’s a best man in the wedding and it’s wayyyy too close for him to cancel. The trip is in October and that will make the baby almost a month and a half old but I’m just worried that that may be too soon to fly with her? Worst case scenario we drive instead of fly but what are some of yalls opinions?
