Painful sex?

I'm at the end of my TWW - waiting till tomorrow to test. And tonight my DH and I had sex and it hurt! I couldn't take all of him - it was like he was poking me deep inside in a way I haven't felt before and it was painful enough we had to stop. Has this happened to anyone else???
