Group B strep test positive ?!!!
I’m freaking out! We’re already considered high risk and now my test for Group B strep just came back positive. I’m reading on it and of course about to have a nervous break down because the condition baby and I already have can cause our membranes to rupture. Which is a cause for group b strep. We have VCI (Velamentous Cord Insertion)
So my question is, if you were high risk how did they treat the situation? Did they deliver your baby early? What do they do besides treat you with antibiotics?
