Tree of life birth center?

Question

I’m 17 weeks pregnant with my first child. I am set on having a natural birth. I’ve been very interested in water birth. I have my consultation with Tree of Life this week & would like to know what questions I should be asking if any of you ladies have had water birth. Any advise ? Or just any stories of your natural birth and why you were happy or unhappy w it ? Anything helps ladies ! I don’t have any knowledge of birthing

For my first midwife visit I sort of went over the birth preferences I had to see how they reacted (so I could feel out if they’d be a good fit). I also asked about the timeline for when they’d suggest an induction (which was at 42 weeks) and if there were things that would risk me out of their care. I also watched for phrases like “you will have XYZ” or “you’ll be allowed/we’ll allow you to” because they can’t not allow me to do anything and that would have been a HUGE red flag. I’m planning on going to a birth center  for the next baby and I’ll be also asking about what happens if I need to transfer to the hospital, what would cause that to happen, etc.

I had a natural birth with my son and it was good. Wasn’t bad st all. Of course painful. But most births are. Natural or not. My daughter unfortunately didn’t allow me to have a natural birth bc she wanted to be here early so I had to have a c section
