I’ve been seeing, texting and sleeping with a guy that is 10 years older than me. He is very gentle and sweet and I’ve met his family and friends. I’m a little hesitant on the age gap though. He is 34 and I’m 24. What are your thoughts?

If you have the same expectations about the relationship and what you want from it I see no issues. The age issue comes in when people are at different life stages and want different things like if a 20 year old wants to go out with friends and party and have a casual relationship and the 30 year old wants to settle down and have kids - obviously that’s not gonna work out. But if you are at the same stage in life and want the same things then it’s not that much of an issue.

My SO and I are 17 years apart. He’s 40 and I’m 23. He treats me so well and I treat him the same way. Age is nothing it’s all about how you to work together and how you feel about each other. My SO is a Police Officer and I run a home daycare and I’m a house wife. I love it and wouldn’t change it. And for anyone who says it is wrong just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it won’t work.
