Just why?

Why is it when your single and no one tries to holla at you but when your off the market and happy in your relationship, they come flocking? 
Like i had an ex from 8 years ago hit my freaking inbox on facebook (mind you i do not have him as a friend) talking about call me?... um Nope, Nah dah, i’m good.

I was on and off for a few week talking to this boy before meeting my current boyfriend (almost 3 years together now) and that boy seemed so uninterested. Left me on read, cancelled plans last minute, everything was on his terms etc. I eventually dropped him and met my current boyfriend a few weeks later. Fast forward to when we start officially dating, I post a photo of me and my boyfriend then that exact night the ex guy texts me out of the blue talking about  "it's been a whole months and I can't stop thinking about you".

That doesn’t happen to me.  I get perused single or attached and honestly if I have a break up, I’m usually reluctant to post the change to social media because then they REALLY come out of the woodwork and I feel like its relentless and obnoxious.
