Bfn then bfp????

Has anyone had lots of bfn after being late then tested again and got bfp? Just curious because I'm 5 days late and I've tested twice and gotten bfn but still no sign of AF. Could there still be a chance of a bfp if I wait a few more days that is if AF doesn't show her ugly face? I just want this to be it. I'm never this late.
