When to switch diaper size

Question

When did you switch your LO to a size 4 diaper? Do you remember their age/weight? We’ve been wearing 3s since about 5 1/2 months and I’m worried I’m too stocked up on 3s. Yes, I will take back what isn’t opened. I’m just curious. Thanks!!

My daughter is 16 months and still in size 3. She’s in the 50th percentile for weigh so average size.

7 months ish. She wasn't technically in the weight range yet. But she kept leaking at night. So we moved up a size. She's nearing 13 months and just officially became weight appropriate for the size.

i do it by how it looks on him hes 28 pounds in size 6 and my cousin who is older than him is 24 pounds and in size 4 so it really depends on chunkyness

when he started having blowouts lol but his thighs were chunky,my son is almost 15 months and hes now in size 6

I just recently switched to 4s and my daughter is almost 2.5 years old. She’s tiny. All kids are different and take different sizes at different times in their lives.
