Contractions every 7-10 min normal???

So I have contractions every 7-10 min also I just have sex with my husband it’s been almost 2 hours I’m 36+4 weeks (western time) what should I do?

Unless they are less then 5 mins apart L&D; will send you home bc it’s not considered active labor. But sometimes being dehydrated can cause false contractions. Try drinking a ton of water, take a shower and lay down if they get closer or your water breaks head to L&D;

orgasms and sperm both contain prostaglandins which give you contractions so I would say it's normal. but keep timing them and walk around, if they get to 5 mins apart and get more intense call L&D;!

If the hospital is a far drive then call and ask how long they should be apart before you head there, if it's a long drive they may want you in sooner but if it's not that long then the general rule is 4-5mins apart and lasting for a minute. Try getting up and moving around, drinking some water, getting a shower and see how it goes. Good luck 👍🏻💪🏻

You’re probably going into labor. You don’t need to call labor and delivery just wait til they’re 4 minutes apart and a minute long and go to the hospital.
