What’s Considered “Adult”

Okay this is inspired by a comment I posted on a different post. But I feel like it could deserve it’s own conversation.

So, outside of the legal aspect, could you consider a minor an adult?

My example: I was emancipated. I lived in an apartment by myself. I worked and paid all my bills alone. I went to school full time. I still played sports and I payed all the costs on my own as well. I only talked to my parents one time after they kicked me out of the house. Sounds like an adult right? I was 16 though. Would you consider me an adult then? Or any other minor in the same position?

**i will add that the point of my comment was that i was dating a man who was older than me and this was my justification but that’s not what this post is about**
