Zoloft and breastfeeding?

I'm getting ready to start Zoloft 25mg and I'm nervous about breastfeeding on it. my OB said it was perfectly safe but just seeing if anyone else takes or has taken it and your experience? thanks mommas!

It could lower your amount and get to baby possibility take lower than that if you can if you have to take it then take it

Following.. I’m in the same boat it’s either lithium or Zoloft and I did not feel comfortable with lithium.

I just got a script for zoloft yesterday. my ob told me that very little, if any, is passed through the milk to the baby. 25mg is half of the actual lowest dose, so if you stay at that I would think there is very little risk

I took zoloft with my first pregnancy and pumped for my son. he was a preemie and they were perfectly fine with him getting my milk. at 6 weeks I switched back to celexa and he had no issues with either

I started with 50mg because of postpartum depression. I didn’t notice any changes in my supply. I took it at night before bed.

I took 50mg and breastfed for 17 months- never hurt my supply or effected my baby.
