does it bother you when people tell you they'll pray for you?

My answer would be yes and no...if I'm told they'll pray for me put of compassion and caring I have absolutely no problem with it and thank them for the well wishes, the Times it bothers me are when it's said out of spite and is obviously meant to be rude. (which is far less often but it occurs)

this question was mostly fueled by my Facebook where my friends normally get Pissed (openly and lash out at the person) when someone says they are praying for them no matter the context which I feel is rude (I don't personally see the need to tell them off ) but I'd love to see other opinions and reasoning behind them.

I'd also like to ask to keep this as civil as possible because we are all going to have different views.
