Gagging herself?!

Question

My 3 month old started this new thing where she sticks her fists in her mouth and gags. Why is she doing this and how can I stop her? I thought maybe she was teething but I don't see any teeth popping threw and my older 2 didn't start getting teeth until much later. I have given her teething toys and pacifiers to try to replace her hands but she just yanks them out and sticks her fists back in and gags every time! This has been going on for 2 weeks now and it's an all day long problem!

OMG, my son does the same thing.  I'll try to redirect him to stop it but he's still doing it from time to time.  I don't know why...maybe because of teething?

Omg... I thought I was the only one except my daughter uses her fingers to gag instead. It started when she was 3 months she will be 4 on the 24th I give her pacifiers, toys and she still prefers chewing on  her fingers 🤦🏼‍♀️ I do believe she is teething though so I let her do whatever makes her feel better I just don't let her go to far where she ends up gagging I stop it before that happens.....

My little one does the same, started around 3months old and still do it at 5,5months. I stop him when I see him doing it, but he has to learn so yes he gags from time to time.
