Breastfeeding and feeling out of whack?

LO is 3 weeks old and we’re getting on a schedule and things are going back to normal, however lately I’ve been feeling so out of it lately. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. I don’t know how to describe the feeling but i feel sluggish and slow, sort of like the beginning of my pregnancy.

Your body making milk to breastfeed can burn anywhere between 300-500 extra calories so you need to eat more also drink a lot more water like you were doing while you were pregnant.

I feel sluggish a lot too but I honestly just think it’s bc I don’t eat extra like I need to.

yup your hormones from pregnancy plus your baby is 3 weeks old. you are going to be tired but you'll normalize out and get a schedule!
