Miscarriage or tubal pregnancy?

I was pregnant the year before last year about 6 weeks along. I went to the clinic and had n ultrasound there was no visible fetus. Went to the ER they treated me with MTX as if it was an ectopic as assumed by the clinic. I received constant watch by physician requiring I come back to the office ever two days for blood work to watch HCG hormones as signs of the drug working. My numbers remained rising even after the second dosage was administered. This drug is a chemotherapeutic drug used to kill rapid growing cells. Not until this second treatment failed I was seen by a gynecologist who determined I need surgery to remove the gestational sac from my intrauterine Fallopian tube. The night before I would be in a stage known as miscarrying, I had horrible cramps waking me from sleep. I had the surgery in late September. I went to the gynecologist to receive birth control IUD and was asked about previous pregnancies and explained this situation as fair as I was aware I had an ectopic pregnancy. She rudely explained I had an miscarriage entirely that is what she read in my file. I asked her if she knows in my file they gave me a dangerous drug not once but twice as a way to solve ectopic final pregnancy. I was so hurt at how she responded to that difficult time I went through. The procedure I had was a D&E.; I am so nervous about conception once again because I am still not sure exactly what I went through.

SN: I was not actively TTC at the time. My boyfriend and I had only been together little over a year. He was not interested in having a child at the time. He actually opt for abortion while I was still in the decision making process. We now have both decided we want children together and if we were faced with same decision would parent.
