Toilet or Trash?

Yep. It’s toilet talk. 
Recently I’ve struck up a debate among friends on what’s more “normal”- to throw your toilet paper in the trash after using it (you know, to finish business) or to flush it.

People throw their toilet paper away that they used to wipe their ass with after a 💩? Yuck 🤢😰🤮 #flushthatshit

I never even realized people didn't flush toilet paper...I would not want that sitting around in my trash. Never had an issue with clogging.

It depends on where most people live, how old their plumbing it, if they have a septic tank, etc. 
Personally I flush.

I’ve studied abroad in many countries and some it’s imperative to trash your TP, not flush it. For Americans that’s absolutely unheard of but somehow we survived. 😉 people need to get over being outraged at things that are different than what they’re used to.

I flush poop toilet paper but pee gets thrown away. We live in an older apartment and have issues with clogging. We ended up with no toilet for 3 days because it clogged and it was a holiday weekend. We are careful about it now.

If I peed sometimes I’ll throw it in the trash but if it’s poop that shit goes in the toilet

We use family cloth, basically cloth wipes we all use when we use the bathroom. We keep the used ones in a bucket next to the toilet and wash every few days.

If I just peed and it’s only one small piece, I’ll flush it. But if I go #2 and use more than one piece of toilet paper, I throw it in the trash. I have a horrible fear of clogging the toilet and will do everything in my power to prevent that.
