When to DTD....

Question

If I’m testing twice a day, and got my first positive at 12 this afternoon who knows how long I have till I O? I know that it can be anywhere from 12-36/48hrs after the first positive but does me testing twice a day make it so I caught it earlier; and it should be more like 36hrs from this morning or does it not matter and just depend on your specific person..TIA!! Really appreciate any advice/experiences!!

if this helps at all here is a little story: for my first pregnancy which produced 2 babies i had to go through 3 ivf cycles…
then suddenly 6 months later, i had an urge to have sex and so we did once in the morning once in evening, and then once again next evening…2 weeks later…pregnant! 
So long story short, now you got positive ovulation test (i used to do millions of these with no success because i wasn’t ovulating) provided you do end up ovulating, do it twice the 2 days in row..doesn’t cost money..if you feel like it..
