Cosleeper.?! FTM 🧜🏽‍♀️🧞‍♂️🤰🏼

Question

Help! FTM! And I want to cosleeper. I am NOT comfortable at all with a small baby in my bed (please don’t try to talk me into it I am beyond uncomfortable with the idea). 
So what cosleeper or sleeping (in same room) idea do you ladies have for me.?! 
I have plenty of time to think about opinions and ideas and we also I have no clue how big or small our room will be (we’re moving) so any any any cosleeping/ room sharing ideas please.

We put the crib right up against our mattress....works great for us and I sleep well having her right beside me but without worrying about rolling onto her since we all have lots of room :)

We used a pack and play with the infant attachment for a bed. You could also do a bassinet but they can usually only use those for a few months until they start sitting up on their own.

We just put baby’s crib in our room by our bed.
I did have him in bed with us for the first couple weeks but I couldn’t actually sleep because I was too worried, and if I put him in his room then I’d be in there all night checking on him. So we just moved his crib to our room so I could get some sleep and not feel the need to constantly check on him.
We just moved his crib back to his room like two weeks ago (he’s 4 months now) because he wasn’t sleeping well in our room. (Dad snores and talks in his sleep, and he’s on call so sometimes his phone goes off late at night and startles baby) and he’s been sleeping great since. I use the baby monitor now that he’s loud enough I can actually hear his little noises through it

Bassinet or pack n play. Pack n play was used longer for me.

We got a pack n play with the extra small bed on top. I used that beside me when I slept. So she was on the bed, but not laying directly on the sheets!!

We used the arms reach cosleeper for the first four months and loved it! When she grew out of that, we moved her crib to our room because we were still nursing 2-3 times a night. At 9 mos we moved her to her own room and night weaned.

Google cosleeper bassinet. Halo and I think armsreach are both really good. They allow it to be right up against the mattress without baby sleeping with you. Has ease of access to baby for feedings especially if EBF.

I have a bassinet right up against my bed so I can just look over and see her/easily grab her

We didn't get a cosleeper or a bassinet. We got a pack and play with 2 levels. My LO slept on the top level in our room until 4 months when we moved him to his crib. You will need one anyway if you travel and stay places so it will last much longer and more bang for your buck than a bassinet that will only last 2-3months.

Our first hasn't been born yet, but we have been donated two bassinets and will use one by the bed for the first year or so.
