Me and my boyfriend argue when we don’t see each other for a long time is this bad ?

My husband and I used to live an hour plane ride apart before we got married and we used to call it the 4 week reset because if we didn’t see each other every 4 weeks, we would start bickering. Once we saw each other, everything was fine until another 4 weeks past lol we just missed each other

my fiancé and i do this, they’re not outrageous arguments but if i travel out of state for a week or so, by the third day we seem to be having a lot of weird little tiffs that we never would usually have, for us we feed off of each other so when he’s upset and misses me it makes me feel bad which makes him feel bad and so forth, it’s just a cycle but once we see each other again it’s back to normal.

It’s not uncommon for couples to argue when they don’t feel connected to their partner. It happens when my husband and I go a long time without sex. But I suppose in your case it would really depend on what your arguments are like and how you treat each other when you’re upset.

This all depends on what the arguments are about. They may not be arguments, they may just be a disagreement on some things bc y’all haven’t seen each other in a while. And YES there’s a difference between disagreeing and argument.

We are best friends and have a wonderful relationship, but we can't seem to avoid these fights, even though we're aware of what's happening, lol. We just call it our "readjustment period."
