My honeymoon is the week my period starts, Do I still go?

I just noticed that my period starts the day of my wedding and lasts through my honeymoon, we are going to the beach do I still go? Anyway to stop or delay it?

The honeymoon is a time of bonding, it isn’t purely about sex. I was in my period my wedding day and knew months in advance that would be the case, but there’s no way I would have changed the date because of it

I would go anyways. I planned my wedding around my cycle so I’d be ovulating right after the wedding. My cycles have always been normal.... morning of my wedding BOOM!!! Period 15 days early 😑

Yes, go. Depending on how far away it is, it can totally get pushed back or pushed up.

There’s apparently a pill your doctor can give you to delay your period but I believe you need to take it a few times a day everyday until you want it to start. I personally don’t mind my period so I wouldn’t care but you could talk to your doctor about it

If you CAN delay it, I would, but if it’s gonna cost extra or be super difficult. Just go! Try a menstural cup! You don’t have to change it throughout the day and you can have sex with it in with certain ones (soft cups) and bring along Tylenol, Advil, pamperin. Whatever you know makes your period easiest!
