Childbirth presents?

Is that a thing that people do? I like the idea of getting him a little something but don’t know if I should, and would it be weird if I gave him something but he didn’t plan anything? I’m okay with not expecting a gift in return cuz he’s taking on the financial burden that is me not working and soon to be two kids at home.

That's ridiculous; you're also giving him a child...people literally pay $100,000 to surrogates to have a child for them. I mean if you want to get him something for his birthday or wev...that's good...but getting it because you feel like a burden? Hell no. I work full time and yes i am going to take 6 months off. I am not a burden i make his house a home. And no one can take care of his child better than me.

Some mothers receive push gifts/push presents from their spouses. I guess it wouldn’t be weird for dad to get something too 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I’ve read a post of someone doing it though and I mean if you really want to go for it but in my case I would be like me carrying this baby is a gift, haha 😂
