Cat Jealous of baby???

I did not know where to post this so I decided to post it here. I have a ragdoll cat and they are pretty much just like the name...laid back. I just had my baby 3 weeks ago and ever since I came home with the baby he seems to act different. He never once tried to harm the baby and matter of fact he just sits near while he is in his bouncer or swing. I was washing his bottles and then my cat attacks my leg and scratches me. He has never had this behavior before and it kind of scares me. I think he is jealous and I don't want to have to give him up because he is my baby too but I don't know what to do at this point. Help?!
