I’ve always wanted tattoos since I was extremely young and I was told my first tattoo needs to have meaning so I got the Harry Potter scar since my maiden name is Potter. Everyone now is telling me it looks stupid. Thoughts?

It looks good- and I love/get the idea- but I was always told never to get a lightening bolt, due to the racist connotation. I even worked at a tattoo shop that refused to do them for said reason. If you ever get in trouble with the law you may be tagged as a gang member for having said tattoo. Not trying to hate- just giving you a very serious perspective.

I think it’s amazing coming from a Harry Potter fan. Who cares what other people say, it’s on your body and as long as you love it there shouldn’t be a problem.
