Hey guys, so I need some clarity. I'm trying to get a divorce and I've already been to a consultation. Just a little back story...Ive been married to my husband for 3 years, separated for almost 1 year. We have no kids, no property, NOTHING together......(Just FYI, Hes in the military)....

He cheated and I couldn't get over it so I finally decided to go ahead and divorce him. In the consultation, the lawyer said that it would be about $2,000 for everything. (He said he wasn't going to sign so it would be contested) I asked him if it was possible for my soon to be ex husband to pay for it since he cheated and ruined us. He said that there was no way to make him pay 🤔 That just doesn't sound right to me. He caused me a lot of pain and wasted my time traveling around with him for him to betray me in the way he did. Does anyone have any knowledge of this??

Can he pay half at least??
