Birth Control

So I haven’t been on birth control since I was 18 and I’m now 23. I didn’t have a reason for birth control until more recently and I’m nervous about which one to get. The women in my family have a tendency to get pregnant on birth control anyways and we all react differently to different medications. What is the best one that some of y’all are on and why, I was told the shot was the best but based off the experience of the women in my family that were on it I am rethinking my decision.
