What it mean when a dude drunk texts you?

Whenever me and this dude texts regularly we really don’t go into so much depth. But last night he was drunk and he texts me at least 4 or 5 long paragraphs about the way he feels about me and even opened up to me about his relationship with his girlfriend. The stuff he told me in the texts he haven’t mentioned before. Could this be how he truly feels about me?
