Laparoscopy.. pregnancy following ?

I have been trying for a baby for 4 years and got absolutely nothing. I am wondering would the lap surgery do any justice or should I not get my hopes up ? They suspected that I have endo because of the pain during sex and the extremely painful periods... my surgery is scheduled for July 26th... any advice ? Comments .. experiences.. pls comment.

I'm still healing from my lap (had it on June 12th) so I can't report back on any success yet since the doctor is also suppressing my cycles for three months to keep the endo from growing while I heal. My doctor seems pretty confident that I will be able to conceive once my cycles return, but he will also give me Femara to help. 
I think the lap would be worth to at least help with your pain and get a diagnosis on the endo. That will only help your treatment going forward. And let me tell you, not because things may seem a certain way on scans does it mean they won't find surprises when they go in for surgery. Case in point, all along we knew based on my HSG that my left tube was blocked. My OB could see adhesions on ultrasound but wasn't sure of the extent and thought I still had a chance at getting pregnant naturally. Obviously, I didn't and during surgery it was discovered the adhesions on my left tube had actually created a band and around the tube and it was so tight the tube was completely twisted which is why it was blocked. No scans showed this, and I even had a CT scan done. He was able to remove the adhesions and fix the tubes which were tested during surgery and they were now both clear so I say the lap is worth it. Like I said though, full success remains to be seen since the purpose was to have it so I could conceive.
