Should I come out?

Before I start please don’t answer with omg come out I can’t believe u won’t why r u scared lol I came out like 69 years ago bc some ppl might not know how scary it is for me.

Right I’m 14 and I’m bisexual. I’ve told my mum, my dad and my brother and my old friends and one close friend I don’t hang out with.

Their reactions

Mum - I still love you

Dad - it’s normal to get crushes on your best friend but if your actually bi I still love you (I didn’t have a crush on my bff I am actually bi lmao)

Brother- oh (me- is that good or bad?) brother- dunno (blanked me all day)

Old friend- aww that’s cute

Other old friend- oh right ok then..

Pros on coming out

-cute bi girl I like at my school

- get to be who I am

- don’t have to hide anything

Cons on coming out

-the only girl in my form I sit with is slightly homophobic

-my friends make a few tiny jokes about gay ppl which aren’t homophobic but still makes me feel a bit weird like oh the more lesbians the more guys for us

- worried my fam might not know what bi is and call me confused

-people don’t like bi and gay girls as much as bi and gay guys

-scarry

- people getting awk in changing rooms and sleepovers

- people being ott if I have a girl crush
