WHAT WAS YOUR DIAGNOSIS FOR MULTIPLE MC

Question

I have an appointment for a fertility specialist at the end of August to hopefully find out why I can't sustain a pregnancy.  I've had 4 early mc and my ob prescribed metformin w/ clomid and progesterone with the last 2 pregnancies after starting just metformin the second round. My question is, what were your diagnosis? was it curable? what did they do to help the baby stick? Thank you in advance for your response!

I've had 5 early losses and my last one in March was at 20 weeks. It turns out I have an MTHFR Gene mutation. So I just have to be sure to take loads of folic acid I've been prescribed and it's an absolute must for me to take a baby aspirin a day to keep my blood from clotting so a baby can stick and not get clots in the umbilical cord and hopefully next time I can stay pregnant with a healthy little bean. Had all bloods but a full count ( phlebotomist forgot that one 🤦🏼‍♀️)
We’re both normal in genetics, and all those weird other little things that mess your blood up. 
So when I can get to the hospital and get a full count, I’m not sure what the next plan of action is.
