Crib bumpers? Yes or No

What's your opinion on crib bumpers? Yay or nay?

They aren't safe. Idgaf how cute they are. I'm not risking my babies life for anything, especially something "cute."

mesh? yes. non besh , fluffy, bug and tick ones? absolutely not.
our daughter has self in her mesh crib since she was born. they attach SECURELY (unlike the non mesh ones) to the crib and are breathable everywhere.  no way a child can suffocate on it.

bellow it's the most recent one, at almost 21 months old.

We used the mesh ones when she moved from the pack n play in our room to her crib. She kept getting her arms and legs stuck and waking up every hour screaming. She twisted her leg pretty bad getting it caught. the mesh ones work well are a safer alternative to the padded bumpers.

We didn’t put the bumpers on until my daughter was 7 months and rolling everywhere. She would get her leg caught in between the bars of the crib, so we put the on to prevent that! It also helped with her naps, because we could walk out of the room without her seeing us!

I went with no bumpers, not even mesh. those I know that work in childcare said they were taught not to use them and anything in the crib is seen as a risk, so I decided to listen to them.

Great comments from everyone! I just like hearing everyone's opinion on them. We had bought bumpers and have decided against them. I just wondered how all the mamas  and papas felt. 💜💜💜

Never ever. Not even mesh. ANY bumper is extremely dangerous and not worth the risk. It's not just suffocation, it's strangulation as well.
