Anything to be worried about?

Hi I'm a first time mum and my 14 day old baby, for the last two days her right eye had started looking abit "sticky". Is it anything to worry about and call the dr or is it normal for newborns to have this?? Thanks in advance!

Looks like it could possibly be pink eye. I would call the doctor. Some mothers even apply a small dab of breast milk

Thank you, sat at the drs now waiting to be seen on a emergency appointment. Hopefully nothing to worry about but it's got worse within an hour so sont wanna leave it any longer xx

I would call your pediatrician just to be safe (better safe than sorry), my son had something that looked similar and I was told to use a warm damp cloth and wipe his eye and it resolved itself but just because it looks similar doesn't mean it's the same thing.
