Confused

Ok, I am married and my husband is a gentleman. We recently participated in a sailboat race in the ocean it took 5 days. My husband and I were on opposite watches. I was on a watch with two bachelors and a married guy. One of the guys was a smooth talker, and quick witted who was fun to joke around with. I never felt uncomfortable nor did I think any conversation with my watch was inappropriate.

When we got to shore this smooth talker looked at my husband and said, “I didn’t mean to offended you with the comments I said.” My husband brushed it off but this guy quickly said, “you would be offended if you knew what I said.”

This conversation happened right in front of me. I really want to know the comments my watch said about me. Why would I want to know what these guys said?
