Is it weird for your boyfriend to still be sad about past breakups?

Answer

I think it depends on  if he gets sad when he thinks about them, or if he actually dwells on them. If it's the former then no I don't think so. No one dates a person with the intention of breaking up and and even if things went horribly wrong, they still meant something to each other at some stage. If he's dwelling though and can't seem to move on then yes.

I, personally, would definitely find it alarming. I mean obviously everyone has their grief stages but if he’s in a new relationship he should did regard his ex’s. I’ve actually been insecure about this in the past with my current boyfriend who I’ve been with about a year and a half now and I still wonder... he was with this girl for like 6-7 years. Makes ya think 🤔
