HELP PLEASE

So I live with my dad because my mom died when I was younger. (I’m in middle school btw) anyways, I feel like I’m ready to start wearing a little bit of makeup but I don’t know how to ask my dad in a way where he won’t say no right away. Basically I need a good reason to why I want to wear makeup, other that I’m just getting older. I feel like he will just think of me as his little girl forever even though I’m growing up.
