Niece and learning

So my niece turned 1 this past January and she has been learning words and body parts... she is doing very well, but whenever I pull up my shirt to go to the bathroom (we are potty training her) she points at my tummy and says baby.. one day she came up to me and said my name and I put her on my lap, and she laid her head on my stomach and said baby and then played with my belly ring. Found it kind of odd.. just a little baby dust to everyone!!
