Sick of people touching my baby!

I know it's silly but I get so anxious about taking my daughter out of the house. I get it, people think she's cute and want to touch her but I'm seriously over it! Today we had to go get her immunisations done so we went to the local GP (my usual GP is on holidays), and after the doctor did an examination on her she picked her up and kissed her! My partner and I were so shocked we didn't know what to do. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's totally inappropriate right? Not to mention the people in grocery store not even half an hour later that though it was ok to touch her as soon as my back was turned to get something off the shelf! Seriously fuming after today! 😡
