26w- Does anyone know if I schedule a prenatal massage if they would have you lay on your stomach?

I am wanting to schedule a prenatal massage but not if I have to lay on my stomach. I checked the massage spas website but it doesnt say anything. 
if anyone has had one what was your experience? tia!

They should have a wedge hole for your stomach so you can lay flat on your stomach with your belly actually going through the middle hole. Sounds weird but actually really comfortable to be able to lay on your stomach again! My prenatal massage was amazing! I had one at 27 weeks and one at 34. Make sure you go to someone who is experienced with prenatal and will know you are pregnant - don’t just go in for a regular massage.

they had me lay on my side when I had one. it was AMAZING. so amazing I completely fell asleep and woke myself up because I started snoring 😂

I think it depends where you go. I got a prenatal massage and I was on my side. I was like 28 weeks.  They suggested not going when your almost full term. I forget their reasoning though. I’d just go in person to book it and see what they do.

My friend had a prenatal massage at like 37 weeks and she had to lay on her stomach. They had a special pillow that her belly was supposed to fit in but she said it was super hard and uncomfortable and she just felt like she was smooshing the baby the whole time. Not relaxing for her at all! :(

Call and ask if they have a pregnancy pillow. The place I go to has them but not all do. If not ask if they can do a massage while on your side.
